Children’s Ministries

Where faith, hope & love play!

We offer several ministry opportunities for families with children.

Sunday School, Sundays at 9:15 am. Sunday School is our main discipleship opportunity for Sunday mornings. We offer classes for all ages, including children. For more information on Sunday School click here.

Children’s worship

Every Sunday First Baptist Port St. John provides a place for children to explore their relationship with God during regular church services.

Nursery. We have a quiet space for infants and toddlers (age 0-2) where they will be cared for by a caring, professional staff so their parents can worship without distractions.

Junior Worship. A high-energy, Bible-based children’s program for younger kids (ages 2-5). Kids will sit with their parents through the musical portion of the worship service and then may be dropped off by their parent in the Junior Worship Room adjacent to the main foyer before the sermon begins.

Children’s Worship. An exciting worship experience for elementary school aged children (Grades 1-6). Like Junior Worship, kids will stay with their parents through the musical portion of the worship service. They will be dismissed to Children’s Worship in the Multipurpose Room before the sermon begins. The goal for while they are in Children’s Worship is for each child to develop an enduring relationship with God through a biblical curriculum, active learning, encouragement, friendship, and games.
